Welcome to Forge Neqotkuk!
Forge Neqotkuk is a welcoming and culturally grounded space for young people ages 12–25 to connect, grow, and access support. Our hub brings together recreation, culture, life skills, mentorship, employment opportunities, and connections to community services in one youth-friendly space. We want every young person who walks through our doors to feel welcomed, supported, and connected to their community.
What we do
Forge Neqotkuk provides young people ages 12–25 with opportunities for recreation, culture, life skills, peer support, mentorship, employment experience, and personal growth. We also help youth connect with community, health, wellness, education, and other services they may need, making it easier to find support in one welcoming place.
Drop-in recreation, group activities, events, and opportunities for young people to connect, build relationships, and feel a sense of belonging.
Culturally grounded activities and opportunities that support connection to Wolastoqey culture, identity, community, traditions, and teachings.
Practical, hands-on learning focused on everyday skills such as cooking, communication, healthy routines, independence, and personal.
Youth will have access to peer-based support, mentorship, connection, and guidance in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment.
A welcoming place where young people can connect with staff for support, information, referrals, and help accessing community, health, wellness, education, and other services.
