Welcome to the Forge site of the Acadian Peninsula, a space designed for young people where you can find support, a listening ear, and resources tailored to your needs and well-being. Our team meets you where you are and offers flexible support, in a trusting environment where you can be yourself. Whether you’re looking for help, information, or opportunities to take part in workshops, Forge is here to help you move forward, build on your strengths, and take care of yourself.


What we do
At the Forge site on the Acadian Peninsula, you receive a welcome, a listening ear, guidance and follow-up to help you find the resources and services that meet your needs. You can meet someone you can trust to share your concerns and challenges. We also offer you tools to help you in your daily life. You can participate in enriching workshops that match your interests, such as music, arts, physical activity and wellness. With Forge, come and get the help you need, discover the resources that are there for you, develop your confidence and talents, meet other young people and take care of yourself.
Workshops, management tools, referrals & support on accessing to specialized resources, including substance use supports.
Support for youth and their families through meetings and referrals to appropriate resources.
Ongoing social service support, including workshops tailored to your needs
Opportunities for youth to develop their skills and well-being. Including access to training and activities, employment & education support, prevention and awareness workshops, and referrals to appropriate resources
Case management and service coordination through participation in multidisciplinary meetings (PVP, ECI, ECC) and collaboration with referring agents, social workers, and partners, as well as the implementation and monitoring of service plans, intervention plans, and joint plans, including client-related communication and follow-up and partner documentation.
We serve as a bridge to the internal resources of the Centre de Bénévolat de la Péninsule Acadienne Inc., such as the homelessness program; the Centre de ressource familiale de la Péninsule acadienne; therapy through Services à la famille de la Péninsule, etc.

Martine Haché
Centre de Bénévolat de la Péninsule Acadienne Executive Director
Martine Haché is a social worker and executive director of the Acadian Peninsula Volunteer Centre. Recognized for her community leadership, she is committed to improving the well-being of individuals and families in the region. Martine manages the Forge program and has been involved in the IYS model since its inception.

Christian Paulin
Administrative Services and Operations Manager
With Christian, you will find a calm and reassuring presence. Manager of Administrative Services and Operations at the CBPA and a member of the Forge management team, he ensures the smooth running of the services and supports the team in order to foster a positive experience for young people. An artist at heart, caring and attentive, he believes in the potential of young people and helps create a welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.

Steve Savoie
Family Services Manager, Forge Program Manager, Clinician
With Steve, you have several ways to be accompanied: he is a social worker, manager and clinician of the Forge program, and intervenes with children, teens, adults and their parents in different CBPA programs. Calm, patient and open-minded, he also works with different teams to offer you a non-judgmental space where you can be yourself, meet your challenges and move forward positively.
